Early in the morning, pick up from Marrakech then head towards Chichaoua village, where we will stop for a cup of tea before you continue to Sidi Mokhtar then our journey to Essaouira..
It’s a medieval city known for its annual festival of Gnaoua music.
Unesco considers the city to be an international heritage, located 181 kilometers away from Marrakech.
We will cross the Argan tree forest, where you might spot some goats climbing the trees.
Also, you will have the opportunity to visit an Argan cooperative on the way to watch how the Argan oil (liquid gold or Moroccan oil) is extracted, as the region is known for Argan oil.
And you will also see how women in the cooperative work hard and with enthusiasm to get the oil from the Argan nuts to make cosmetics.
Essaouira which used to be called Mogador, is in the southwest of Morocco, and it is a beautiful fishing port with a beautiful old windswept medina.
You will admire “Porte de la Marine” and the Skala with its rows of bronze cannons.
You will enjoy its nonchalant charm, white houses, cozy coffee and delicious fish.
The unique atmosphere adds to the flow of people in the narrow streets that have inspired artists for centuries.
After your visit, we will drive towards Marrakech, where we will arrive in the evening and end our journey.
