Ouarzazate - Les Gorges du Todra (Todgha)
Departure from Ouarzazate early in the morning to discover the Todra Gorges via the palm grove and the Kasbahs of Skoura.
The tour continues to reach El Kelâa des M'Gouna (1450m), a village located at the crossing of the M'Goun and Dades valleys.
At this point the Valley of the Roses trail begins. We pass through Ait Saîd, Tourbist, Tamalout, to arrive at Bou-Tharar in the Valley of the Roses.
Possibility to take a walk along the Oued M'Goun river.
We then take the track to the Kasbah of Glaoui Ait-Youl on the edge of the Dades Valley.
We then take a beautiful road with coloured rocks and Kasbahs to the gorges.
We return to Boumalne in the direction of Tineghir. On the programme: a short walk in the picturesque Todra Gorges.
To close this day, we arrive in a nice guest house where we have dinner and spend the night.
Les Gorges du Todra - Zagora
After breakfast we drive from N'Kob to Tansikht.
Then we will take a track along the Draa Valley lined with countless date palms, and through many typical ksours (fortified villages).
We continue on the left bank of the Draa to Zagora.
Zagora - M'hamid - Erg Chigaga
After breakfast we will leave Zagora for Tamegroute.
Here you can stop to visit the old Koranic library, the pottery artisans and the underground Kasbah to see its current inhabitants.
We continue to head towards the town of M'hamid El Ghizlane, where we will stop for lunch.
We will then take the desert track for 60 km from M'hamid to the dunes at Erg Chigaga (300m).
On our way we will pass through the different variations of the desert: Erg, Reg, Hammada and Dunes.
The dunes of Chigaga are remote from civilization. You will have the opportunity to take a camel ride and enjoy the sunset on the sand.
After dinner, we gather around the fire to listen to Berber music under a sky full of stars.
Overnight at the bivouac in the Sahara at Erg Chigaga.
Dunes de Chegaga - Ouarzazate
After a picturesque sunrise over the beautiful dunes of Erg Chigaga, you will have breakfast in the camp.
We will start our day with a drive on the old Paris-Dakar race road towards Foum-Zguid.
We will stop at the dry lake of Iriki.
We continue our journey to the first village after the desert (Foum-Zguid)
From here the road heads north along paved roads and amazing rock formations to the small town of Taznakht, famous for its Berber carpets.
We stop to admire them and then return to your hotel in Ouarzazate.
